Quality medicine urged

China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Medicines & Health Products signed an initiative on Sunday afternoon calling for medicine safety.

Representatives of more than 40 pharmaceutical enterprises signed the initiative, promising to commit themselves to guaranteeing exports of quality medicine, fi ghting against unfair competition and abiding relevant national rules.

In addition, pharmaceutical enterprises promised to normalize the export business and act on behalf of the country and the industry, promoting a sound and sustainable development of China's export medicine industry.
