The meeting of standards verification for ??Traveling luggage and bags?? and ??backpack and handbags?? held in Guangzhou on December 6??2008??hosted by National Leather Industry Technical Committee for Standardization??the industry experts??and 40 representatives from enterprises??testing organizations and department stores took part in the meeting??vice president Su Chaoying and vice secretary-general Ye Xiangju in CLIA attended the standards verification meeting.
Based on the reality industrial situation in luggage and bags sectors and drawn up advanced experiences of foreign countries the amended standards bring the testing methods and other requirements in line with international standards. The upgraded standards added the harmful materials testing and limitation??loaded vibration testing as well as regulation of Product Identification. These two standards will be submitted to National Standards Commission for approval.
