Nowadays the examination meeting of national footwear standard held and the experts from National Footwear Technical Committee for Standardization reviewed and approved twelve National Footwear Standards on the meeting??and these standards have been submitted for approval to National Standards Commission. Among them Putian City drafted eight of submitted footwear standards??Putian is known as Footwear City??and one of national footwear production and export bases??shoemaking industry is listed as the top ten industrial sectors??and expect to realize the total output value of 20 billion yuan RMB.
