The 4th Tanboocel Bamboo Fiber Industrial Union Conference Ended Successfully in Yunnan
The 4th Tanboocel Bamboo Fiber Industrial Union Conference was held in Lincang City, Yunnan Province during Dec 5-8, 2008 with the theme of “Confidence, Cooperation, Responsibility and Win-win―Create the future for Tanboocel”, which shows the expectation and confidence for the prospect of the industry despite a gloomy global economy. The conference received strong support from Lincang Municipal Government, Hebei Development and Reform Commission, Shijiazhuang Bureau of Science and Technology, Gaocheng Municipal Government, Yibin State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration, Shuangjiang Autonomous Government, China Textile Association, PLA General Logistics Department, Donghua University and Hebei University of Science and Technology. Press media such as CCFGroup.com, ChinaYarn.com, “China Textile News”, “Home Textile”, etc also attended the meeting. The participants also included 200 representatives from over 40 yarn mills and end-user enterprises. Tanboocel bamboo fiber keeps healthy and stable development in 2008 faced with global financial turmoil. Mr. Song Dewu, director of Tanboocel Industry Union indicated in the annual report that the development attributes to the joint efforts of members and secretariat of the union. Mr. Song analyzed the existing problems and elaborated the plans for 2009.
