A stable trend on chinese cotton market

Demand for 100% cotton yarns kept stable. The seasonal impact saw the sold quantities not really changed. Cotton prices remain unchanged on chinese cotton market and were expected to stabilize in the next season. Last Thursday (21 July), the EU has stopped imports of Category 5 (Pullovers). Demand for cotton fibers and cotton yarns decreased a little in the past week in China, as a result. Cotton yarn prices in China are already higher than last year, Chinese businessmen said, as demand remained stable or slightly declined. Prices of 100% cotton yarns will be stable in coming weeks, they expect. |
