Euroskills 2008 Competition to Get Support from Haas Machine Tools (Tool-Moldmaking.com)
Participants in the prestigious Euroskills 2008 competition will use the latest CNC lathes and vertical machining centres designed and built by US-based Haas Automation, the world?s largest and fastest-growing volume producer of CNC machine tools. The machines will be supplied and supported by the company?s European headquarters in Zaventem, Brussels.
The Euroskills event will give competing students the opportunity to operate state-of-the-art CNC machines that are employed by more than 50,000 of the world?s leading manufacturing companies.
Haas Automation enjoys a well-documented reputation for encouraging and nurturing careers in precision engineering, thanks in large part to its worldwide network of purpose-built Haas Technical Education Centres (HTECs).
