Additional INVISTA Leaders Announced

WICHITA, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 5, 2004--Additional leaders have accepted key roles in the new INVISTA organization, pending successful completion of the INVISTA sale to KED Fiber Ltd. and KED Fiber, LLC, subsidiaries of Koch Industries, Inc.

Steve Kromer will become INVISTA's senior vice president, strategy, sourcing and business development. Kromer joined Koch Industries in 1982 and is currently managing director of corporate business development. Kromer is replacing George Gregory, current KoSa president, who elected not to join the new INVISTA organization.



Kevin Fogarty will be president, polymers and resins, and be based in Wichita, Kan. In this role, he will oversee polyester polymers, bottle resins and nylon salts and polymers. Fogarty currently is president of KoSa's polymer and intermediates business. He joined Koch in 1991.



Gerold Linzbach will be president, textile fibers. He will oversee INVISTA's staple, tire cord, mechanical rubber goods and polyester textile filament businesses from the Charlotte, N.C.-area. Linzbach currently is president of KoSa's fibers business.



David Duncan, previously a member of Koch's corporate business development team, will become an INVISTA vice president and will initially focus on restructuring the nylon apparel business. He has been with Koch since 1997 and is currently leading the Koch-INVISTA transition team.



Greg Biederman will become vice president, specialty products, for INVISTA, and be based in Wichita, Kan. This business will report to the Intermediates president Kenneth Wall. Biederman currently is global business director, C-12, specialties and terathane for INVISTA. He joined DuPont in 1980.



Previously, William Ghitis, David Trerotola, Alan Wolk and Wall were selected as presidents to lead the Apparel, Performance Fibers, Interiors and Intermediates businesses, respectively, for the new INVISTA organization. Ghitis and Trerotola will be located in the Wilmington tri-state area; Wolk will be based in the Atlanta area; and Wall will locate in Wichita.
