AFMA & FEB Move To New Offices

On August 26, 2002, the American Fiber Manufacturers Association (AFMA) and its subsidiary, the Fiber Economics Bureau (FEB), commenced operation at their new offices at 1530 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 690, Arlington, VA 22209. (Phone: 703 875 0432 Fax: 703 875 0907).

About AFMA: The American Fiber Manufacturers Association, Inc. is the trade association for U.S. companies that manufacture synthetic and cellulosic fibers. The industry employs 30 thousand people and produces over 9 billion pounds of fiber in the U.S. AFMA's 24 member companies account for more than 90% of these fibers produced and sold in the U.S.

About FEB: The Fiber Economics Bureau is the only source of direct statistics on the United States manufactured fiber industry and its products — acrylic, nylon, polyester, olefin, rayon, glass fiber, and others. FEB's long-established contacts with fiber producers and confidential handling of proprietary data has earned respect and cooperation from manufactured fiber producers around the world. FEB's two monthly publications, the Fiber Organon and the Manufactured Fiber Review, present the latest information on industry trends in easy-to-read tables and charts.
