Ningbo Automobile Export Down in Jan-May 2017

According to Ningbo Customs statistics, from January to May, Ningbo exported a total of 5,719 automobiles, down 12.2% year-on-year (YOY); worth CNY 243 million, down 35.2% YOY; export price at 42,500 yuan per auto, down 26.2% YOY.
In May alone, the export quantity was 1,225 autos, down 16% YOY; export price at 32,500 yuan per auto, down 33.3% YOY; and mainly to Iran, EU and South Korea in order: 720 autos to Iran, up 50%, accounting for 58.8% of the total; 266 autos to the EU, up 9.2 times, accounting for 21%; and 99 autos to South Korea, up 4 times, accounting for 8.1%.
