Shenzhen Exported Cellphones, QTY Down & Price Up in October 2017

According to Shenzhen Customs statistics, from January to October this year, Shenzhen exported 330 million sets of cellphones, down 20.6% year-on-year (YOY); worth RMB 88.1 billion, down 21.8%; average export price 263.4 yuan per set, down 1.5%. In October, Shenzhen exported 33.721 million cellphones, down 8.4%; worth RMB 11.47 billion, down 3.5%; average export price 340.2 yuan per set, up 5.3%. Exports to Hong Kong accounted for about 80%, and exports increased to the United States, Russia and the United Arab Emirates. In October, Shenzhen exported 26.045 million cellphones to Hong Kong, down 12.2%, accounting for 77.2%. At the same time export to the United States reached 2.15 million sets, up 44.7%; exports to Russia and United Arab Emirates respectively reached 907,000 and 763,000 sets, all doubled (YOY).
