Pakistan-South Xinjiang Trade Value Up Largely in 2017

According to Kashgar Customs statistics, in 2017, the export-import trade between Pakistan and south Xinjiang totaled 3.93 billion Yuan in value, up 62.2% year-on-year, accounting for 89.7% of total Xinjiang-Pakistan trade. Therein, Khunjerab Pass was the major port, with export value 3.72 billion yuan, up 65.0% YOY, and import value 210 million yuan, up 31.3% YOY; exports including textile, garment, electromechanical products and shoes, while imports mainly of agricultural products.
