Hangzhou Cross-Border E-Commerce Imports Worth 8.1 Billion Yuan in 2017, Up 43.03% YOY

On February 1, 2018, Hangzhou Customs disclosed the import achievements of 2017 made by Hangzhou Cross-Border E-Commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area. Throughout 2017, Hangzhou Customs cleared cross-border e-commerce-imported commodities totaling 8.1 billion Yuan in value, up 43.03% year-on-year, the hot sales including milk powder, foods and skincare products. In Xiasha Park of the Pilot Area, where the bonded import prevails, this Customs cleared inbound parcels totaling more than 36 million consignments in 2017, averagely more than 100,000 consignments each day, with the imported commodities totaling 7.35 billion Yuan in value, up 53.11% year-on-year.
