Announcement No. 14 2010 of the General Administration of Customs on China-Peru

With approval from the State Council, China-Peru Free Trade Agreement will take effect on March 1st 2010. The relevant issues are announced as followings:

First, from March 1st 2010, China implements conventional tariff listed in this announcement on commodities under 6809 tariff items imported from Peru (see the annex).

Second, when importing the commodities under conventional tariff originated from Peru, the import entities shall fill the declaration form according to the customs relevant stipulation, and the column of "conventional code for preferential trade" shall be filled in "12".

Third, when importing the commodities under conventional tariff originated from Peru, the import entities shall submit relevant document to customs according to the Administrative Measure for the Certificate of Origin for the Import and Export Goods under the China-Peru Free Trade Agreement by the Customs of P.R.C.

Fourth, the commodities names in the annex of this announcement are in simplified form and the definite names are based on the description in the Customs Tariffs of Import and Export Commodities of the P.R.C.
