Implementing Policies of Subsidy for Newly-Increased Varieties of Home Appliance

Recently, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly printed and distributed the Circular on Printing and Issuing the Implementing Plan of Subsidy for the Newly-Increased Varieties of Home Appliances to the Countryside and Relevant Issues on Confirming Newly-Increased Varieties of Subsidy to confirm the subsidy varieties of home appliances to the countryside, ceiling of subsidy, specify the implementation plan and make deployments on doing well the newly-increased subsidy varieties of home appliances to the countryside.

The Circular made affirmations on the applied newly-increased subsidy varieties of home appliance to the countryside, which mainly focus on six categories of products including ventilator, electrical bicycle and gas stove; and specify the ceiling of subsidy for newly-increased varieties, with the ceiling of subsidy for ventilator of RMB338, electrical bicycle of RMB260 and gas stove of RMB195.

The Circular specifies that the implementation time limit of newly-increased varieties shall be the same as the policies for home appliances to the countryside across the country, with each household limited to 2 units (pieces) and the specific types decided by the competent finance, commerce and industry and information technology authorities at the provincial level in the form of open bid. And the ceiling price shall be determined by comprehensively considering the consumer capability of peasants, market share and price structure and submitted to the Ministries of Finance, Commerce and Industry and Information Technology for filing.
