Joint Announcement of the State Food and Drug Administration of P. R. China, the General Administration of Customs of P. R. China, No. 66, 2010: (On Relevant Matters concerning Import & Export of 4-Mephed-Rone)

In accordance with the provisions in the Announcement on Including 4-Mephed-Rone into Control of Class I Psychotropic Drugs (GUOSHIYAOJIANBAN [2010] No. 315) jointly adopted by the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) of P. R. China, the Ministry of Public Security of P. R. China, and the Ministry of Health of P. R. China, as of September 1, 2010, 4-mephed-rone shall be included into the control of class I psychotropic drugs. Relevant matters concerning the import and export of 4-mephed-rone are hereby announced as follows:

The Customs Product ID of 4-mephed-rone & its salt is 2922390050, and the Customs Product ID of the possible chemical isomers, esters, and ethers of 4-mephed-rone shall be subject to the actual Customs classification.

As of September 1, 2010, in the event that enterprises import and export 4-mephed-rone & its salt, chemical isomers, esters, and ethers, China Customs authorities shall examine and verify the Import Permit for Psychotropic Drugs or Export Permit for Psychotropic Drugs issued by the SFDA and transact import and export formalities as stipulated.
