Announcement No. 71, 2010 of the General Administration of Customs of P. R. China

In 2004, the Customs Tariff Commission under the State Council of P. R. China decided to impose anti-dumping duties on the imported chloroform originating in the EU, R. O. Korea, the United States, and India as from Nov. 30, 2004 with a period for 5 years. On Nov. 30, 2009, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) decided to carry out a final review investigation into the anti-dumping measures applicable to the imported chloroform originating in the EU, R. O. Korea, and the United States and terminate the anti-dumping measures applicable to the imported chloroform originating in India. Based on the findings of the final review investigation, the Customs Tariff Commission under the State Council of P. R. China decided to continue imposing anti-dumping duties on the imported chloroform originating in the EU, R. O. Korea, and the United States as from Nov. 30, 2010 with a period for 4 years. Relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:

As from Nov. 30, 2010, China Customs authorities shall continue imposing anti-dumping duties on the imported chloroform originating in the EU, R. O. Korea, and the United States in accordance with relevant provisions in Announcement No. 37, 2004 and Announcement No. 27, 2007 of the General Administration of Customs of People's Republic of China.
