Announcement No. 91, 2010 of the General Administration of Customs of the P. R. China (GACC)

In 2004, the Customs Tariff Commission under the State Council ruled the imposition of anti-dumping duties on imported Dispersion Unshifted Single-Mode Optical Fiber originating in the USA, Japan, and the R. O. Korea for a period of five years from January 1, 2005.

On January 1, 2010, the Ministry of Commerce decided to carry out a final review investigation into the anti-dumping measures applicable to imported Dispersion Unshifted Single-Mode Optical Fiber originating in Japan and the R. O. Korea and terminate the anti-dumping measures applicable to imported Dispersion Unshifted Single-Mode Optical Fiber originating in the U.S.

According to the findings of the final review investigation, the Customs Tariff Commission under the State Council ruled the imposition of anti-dumping duties on imported Dispersion Unshifted Single-Mode Optical Fiber originating in Japan and the R. O. Korea for a period of five years from January 1, 2011.

Relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:

As from January 1, 2011, China Customs shall continue levying anti-dumping duties on the imported Dispersion Unshifted Single-Mode Optical Fiber (HS Code: 90011000) originating in Japan and the R. O. Korea in accordance with the product scope, HS Codes, duty rates, formula and so on stipulated in the Announcement No. 47, 2004 of the General Administration of Customs and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the GACC's Announcement No. 80, 2006, Announcement No. 25, 2008, Announcement No. 25, 2009, and Announcement No. 90, 2009.
