Announcement No. 105, 2010 by the Ministry of Commerce of China (MOFCOM) and the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC)
According to 2011's Customs Import and Export Tariffs of the P. R. China, the MOFCOM and the GACC have jointly made some adjustment on the Catalog of Dual-Use Items & Technologies under Import & Export Licenses. The adjusted catalog is hereby promulgated (see the Annex).
With respect to the import of radioactive isotope, the importer shall obtain in advance the Import License for Dual-Use Items & Technologies from the MOFCOM's Bureau of Quota License Affairs on the strength of written approval by China's Ministry of Environmental Protection, according to the Regulations of Security and Protection on Radioactive Isotopes and X-Ray Apparatus and the Regulatory Measures on the Import License for Dual-Use Items & Technologies.
The importer shall undertake the import formalities with customs authorities on the strength of the Import License for Dual-Use Items & Technologies.
This Announcement shall take effect from January 1, 2011 with simultaneous repeal of the corresponding Catalog promulgated in the Announcement No. 120, 2009 by the MOFCOM and the GACC.
