GACC Announcement 82, 2011 on HK/Macao Origin-Criteria Tables

As per the China Mainland-Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA), China Mainland-Macao Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA) and their supplements, hereby announced are the Table of Origin Criteria on Hong Kong-Made Goods under Goods-Trade Preferences and the Table of Origin Criteria on Macao-Made Goods under Goods-Trade Preferences (hereinafter referred to as the "Origin Criteria Tables", see Annexes 1 & 2 herein), which have been adjusted according to 2012's China Customs Import & Export Tariffs:

The Origin Criteria Tables adopt simplified descriptions of goods, which are in accordance with those under corresponding HS Codes in 2012's China Customs Import & Export Tariffs.

The Origin Criteria Tables herein shall enter into force from January 1, 2012 along with simultaneous repeal of their versions made by the GACC in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 respectively.

However, the Certificates of Origin made as per 2011's Origin Criteria Tables, where within their validity periods, may continue being effective in customs declaration by import consignees or their agents.
