In 2007, the State Council's Customs Tariff Commission decided to levy antidumping duties on sulfamethoxazole (SMZ) made in India for five years from June 16, 2007.
Before the antidumping expiry, the Customs Tariff Commission has decided to continue the antidumping duties during the period of final review, as follows:
From June 16, 2012, China Customs may continue to levy the antidumping duties on India-made SMZ (HS Code 29350030) as required by GACC Announcement No. 26, 2007.
