GACC Announcement No. 39, 2012 on Levying Electric/Electronic Discard Disposal Fund

Upon approval by the State Council of China, as of July 1, 2012, China Customs starts to levy the fund for disposing discarded electric and electronic products from abroad.
To help importers and exporters pay this kind of fund, from July 30, 2012, China Customs has turned on the fund paying function on its electronic payment system that is designed for the enterprises.
The operation procedure of the fund payment is the same as that of import duty payment.
The fund payers shall operate in accordance with relevant regulations in the GACC Announcement No. 17 of 2011.
