AQSIQ-CNCA Announcement No. 117, 2012 on Compulsory Certification-Free Products

Issued Jointly by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection & Quarantine (AQSIQ) and the Certification & Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA) on August 13, 2012

In accordance with China's regulations on certification, accreditation and compulsory product certification, as of the issue date hereof, some products as annexed below may be dispensed from China Compulsory Certification (CCC) practice.

The designated certifying agencies shall not conduct compulsory certification for these products anymore and shall revoke the compulsory certification documents already issued to these products.

The certified enterprises shall return to the issuing authority any compulsory-certification marks that they have bought but not used yet, and shall be refunded after being verified.
