GACC Announcement No. 40, 2012 for AD Duties on Sulfamethoxazole from India

By the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC)

China's Customs Tariff Commission under its State Council has decided, upon Chinese Ministry Of Commerce midterm-review findings, to adjust the antidumping (AD) duties applied to sulfamethoxazole (SMZ) originating in India.

Relevant matters are hereby announced:

As of August 17, 2012, China Customs may levy the antidumping duties on India-made SMZ in accordance with the adjusted duty rates as follows:

Andhra Organics Limited - 17.2%;

Virchow Laboratories Limited - 17.2%;

All Others from India - 36.4%

Other issues with the antidumping may still resort to GACC Announcements No. 26 Of 2007 and No. 29 Of 2012 regulations.
