AQSIQ Adjusts Goods Subjected to Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine

AQSIQ-GACC Joint Announcement No. 109 of 2013

As required by the State Council of China, the AQSIQ hereby decides to adjust China's Catalog of Entry-Exit Goods Subjected to Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine Agencies, as follows:

Ordinary manufactured goods under 1,507 HS Codes shall be exempted from export inspection. Therein, the goods under 1,420 HS Codes shall be removed from the Catalog of Exit Goods Subjected to Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine Agencies (Annex 1); the goods under 87 HS Codes subjected to exit animal/plant quarantine (Annex 3) shall remain in the Catalog of Exit Goods.

Export inspection shall continue on dangerous chemicals, fireworks and firecrackers, lighters, toys and baby carriage, food-contacted products, automobiles and rare earth; performance and service tests shall continue on any exporting packages used for dangerous goods.

As required, the lignite products under 2 HS Codes shall be subjected to import inspection (Annex 2), and their imports shall be based on submission of their Inspection Certificates for Entry Goods that are issued by entry-exit inspection and quarantine agencies.

This Announcement shall enter into force on August 15, 2013.
