GACC Announcement No.47, 2013 on Perdue Foods LLC & Perdue Farms Incorporated Duty Rates

In accordance with China's Antidumping and Anti-subsidy Regulations, in 2010, the Customs Tariff Commission of China decided to levy anti-subsidy duties and antidumping duties for 5 years from August 30, 2010 and September 27, 2010 respectively on white-feather broilers originating in the USA.
Recently, China Ministry of Commerce has permitted the USA's Perdue Foods LLC to inherit the antidumping duties, anti-subsidy duties, other rights and obligations applicable to former Perdue Farms Incorporated regarding those Chinese trade remedy measures.
Accordingly, as of August 27, 2013, China Customs shall levy the antidumping duties at 51.8% rate and the anti-subsidy duties at 7.4% rate on the USA white-feather broilers imported in the name of Perdue Foods LLC; and shall levy at the antidumping duty rate of 105.4% and at the anti-subsidy duty rate of 30.3% on the imported in the name of Perdue Farms Incorporated as "other USA companies".
Other relevant matters shall be still subjected to GACC Announcements No. 58 and No. 64 of 2010.
