GACC Announcement No.49, 2013 Adjusts Import Duty Rates on Lignite & Airplanes

Upon approval by the State Council of China, the GACC hereby makes adjustments of some import duty rates as below:
As regards lignite (HS Codes 27021000 and 27022000), cancel the temporary zero rate and restore the Most-Favored-Nation rate of 3%;
As regards the passenger airplanes with empty weight of 25-45 tons under HS Code 88024010, cancel temporary 1% rate and restore the Most-Favored-Nation rate of 5%;
As of August 30, 2013, the importing lignite under 27021000 and 27022000 shall still be declared as under the HS Codes 2702100000 and 2702200000; the importing airplanes under 88024010 shall be declared as under the HS Code 8802401000.
