GACC Announcement No.41, 2014 on Added Zero-Duty Goods under Hong Kong & Macao CEPAs

In accordance with China Inland-Hong Kong and Inland-Macao Closer Economic Partnership Arrangements (hereinafter referred to as "Hong Kong CEPA" and "Macao CEPA") and their supplements, hereby announced are the Table of Origin Criteria for Added Zero-Duty Goods under Hong Kong CEPA from July 1, 2014 (see Annex 1), the Table of Origin Criteria for Added Zero-Duty Goods under Macao CEPA from July 1, 2014 (see Annex 2) and Revisions of the Origin Criteria on Some of Hong Kong-Made Goods under the CEPA (see Annex 3):

1. Both of the Tables of Origin Criteria aforesaid use simplified description of goods and shall come into force on July 1, 2014. The scopes of the added goods are consistent with those under corresponding HS Codes in China Import & Export Tariffs of 2014.

2. The Revisions of the Origin Criteria on Hong Kong-Made Goods provide revision of the origin criteria of "other belted continuous-freight elevators or conveyors (HS Code 84283300) listed in GACC Announcement No.82, 2011 annex 1; the revised criteria shall come into force on July 1, 2014.

Annex 1. Table of Origin Criteria for Added Zero-Duty Goods under Hong Kong CEPA from July 1, 2014;

Annex 2. Table of Origin Criteria for Added Zero-Duty Goods under Macao CEPA from July 1, 2014;

Annex 3. Revisions of the Origin Criteria on Some of Hong Kong-Made Goods under the CEPA
