GACC Announcement No.57, 2014 Adds "1210" Customs Supervision Code
[2014-08-05 14:57:32]
To better regulate cross-border trade by e-commerce, China Customs has decided to add a code for customs supervision modes as follows:
1. Add the code "1210" for "bonded cross-border trade e-commerce", which is applicable to inward and outward goods by cross-border e-commerce retail on e-commerce platform through customs supervision zones or bonded supervision zones (except the goods traded between the customs/bonded supervision zones and China's internal markets).
When being used for import, the "1210" supervision mode is only for the customs supervision zones and bonded logistics centers (B type) that are approved for cross-border e-commerce pilot import.
2. The cross-border e-commerce enterprises, payment enterprises and logistics enterprises that use the "1210" supervision mode shall be registered with the customs authorities and shall real-timely transmit their transaction, payment, warehousing and logistic data to the customs over customs e-commerce platform.
The regulations above shall come into force on August 1, 2014.
