MOFCOM Announcement No. 59, 2014 on End Antidumping on Phthalic Anhydride from South Korea, Japan & India

On August 30, 2009, China Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) issued its annual announcement no.56 for five-year antidumping measures on Phthalic Anhydride from South Korea, Japan and India till August 30, 2014.

On February 27, 2014, the MOFCOM issued its annual announcement no.14 informing the expiry of the aforesaid antidumping measure on August 30, 2014. From February 27, Chinese domestic industry or industrial representatives (individuals or organizations) may apply in writing to the MOFCOM for relevant expiry review 60 days prior to the expiring date of the antidumping measure.

Within the time limit aforesaid, the MOFCOM has received no expiry-review application of this case and also has decided not to initiate the expiry review. Therefore, from August 31, 2014, the MOFCOM will terminate the antidumping duties on Phthalic Anhydride originating in South Korea, Japan and India.
