MOF Notice No.67, 2014 (on Import Natural-Gas Tax Preferences Adjustment)

To local bureaus of finance, local bureaus of state taxation, Guangdong Sub-Administration of China Customs, and local Customs Districts:
In accordance with National Development & Reform Commission's adjustment of non-resident stock natural-gas prices in August 2014, hereby announced are adjustments over the pro-rata refunds of import VAT regarding the natural gas import in 2011-2020 and the natural gas import under "Central Asian Gas"project by 2010 (as per CaiGuanShui [2011] No.39 Notice) and over the tax preferences for the gas import (as per CaiGuanShui [2013] No.74 Notice):
1. As from October 1, 2014, the sale price of liquefied natural gas will be adjusted to CNY 38.82/GJ and that of pipeline natural gas will be adjusted to CNY 1.37/cubic meter.
2. During July-September 2014, the sale price of liquefied natural gas applies CNY 35.14/GJ and that of pipeline natural gas applies CNY 1.24/cubic meter.
3. As from July 1, 2014, Article 1 of CaiGuanShui [2013] No.74 Notice will cease to apply.
