GACC Announcement No.5, 2015 (on Dates Applicable to Import-Export Taxation Exchange-Rate Application)

In accordance with State Council Decree No.644, the Spring Festival holidays, as statutory holidays, have been revised to be Chinese lunar calendar's January 1 (New Year's Day), January 2 and January 3. To regulate the application of import-export taxation exchange rate, hereby redefined are the "statutory holidays" which are set forth in China Customs Measures For Taxation On Import & Export Goods (GACC Decree No.124):
The "statutory holidays" refer to the holidays that are formulated by the state for all citizens to enjoy, specifically including (except the workdays taken off):
1. Gregorian calendar's New Year's Day (January 1 on the Gregorian calendar);
2. Spring Festival (the 1st, 2nd and 3rd days of the 1st month on Chinese lunar calendar);
3. Tomb-sweeping Day on Chinese lunar calendar;
4. International Labor Day (May 1 on Gregorian calendar);
5. Dragon Boat Festival (the 5th day of the 5th month on Chinese lunar calendar);
6. Mid-Autumn Festival (the 15th day of the 8th month on Chinese lunar calendar);
7. National Day (October 1-3 on Gregorian calendar);
Upon the release of this Announcement, GACC Announcement No.18, 2010 shall be repealed.
