SFA Announcement No.7, 2015 (on Banning Ivory Carvings Import from Africa)

From the issue date below through 26 February 2016, China will temporarily ban the import of African ivory carvings acquired after U.N. Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora enters into force. Therefore, the State Forestry Administration (SFA) will accordingly reject relevant administrative license requests.
