MOFCOM Announcement No.11, 2015 (on Ending Antidumping/Anti-subsidy on Oriented Electrical Steels from USA & Russia)

On April 10, 2010, the MOFCOM issued its annual Announcement No.21 deciding to levy antidumping duties on oriented electrical steels from USA and Russia and anti-subsidy duties on those from the USA for five years as from April 11, 2010.
On October 10, 2014, the MOFCOM issued its annual Announcement No. 67 stating that the aforesaid anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures will expire on April 10, 2015 and interested Chinese parties (natural persons, legal persons or organizations) may apply in writing to the MOFCOM for expiry review of this case sixty (60) days before the expiring date.
Within the time limit, interested Chinese parties made no application for the expiry review and the MOFCOM also decided not to initiate the expiry review. Hence, as from April 11, 2015, the MOFCOM will terminate the antidumping measures on the oriented electrical steels from the USA and Russia as well as the anti-subsidy on those from the USA.
