GACC Announcement No.54, 2015 (on Zero Duty for Products from Least-Developed Countries as Comoros)

The Chinese government will, upon its State Council approval, grant zero duty treatment to 97% of HS Coded products from specific least-developed countries. Relevant matters are hereby announced below:

1.From 10 December 2015, zero duty will be provided for importation of 97% of HS Coded products originating in 9 least-developed countries including Union of the Comoros, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the Republic of Togo, the Republic of Liberia, the Republic of Niger, the Republic of Rwanda, the Republic of Angola, the Republic of Zambia, and the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. Regarding applicable product list, please refer to Annex 6 to GACC Announcement No.95 of 2014.

2.When applying for zero duty (i.e. special preferential duty) treatment, a consignee of inbound cargos from any of the aforesaid countries shall make customs declaration as required by providing "13" for "Preferential Trade Agreement code" and submitting relevant documents as per the regulations in GACC Decree No.210.
