GACC Announcement No.71, 2015 on Origin Certificate under Preferential Trade Arrangements

In order to simplify the submission of Origin Certificate under preferential trade arrangements with electronic data interchange, relevant matters are hereby announced:

As regards the imports under preferential trade arrangements with electronic data interchange for origin information, such as Chinese Inland-Hong Kong and Inland-Macao Closer Economic Partnership Arrangements (CEPAs) and Cross-Straits Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA), China Customs will no longer require the importers to submit the original of Certificate of Origin during their import declaration. In the case deemed as necessary by the Customs, the importers shall re-submit the original of Certificate of Origin.

This Announcement shall enter into force on 1 January 2016.
