GACC Announcement No.12, 2016 on (Commodity Classification Admin Ruling)

In accordance with China Customs Measures on Administrative Ruling (provided in GACC Decree No.92) and Regulations on Import & Export Commodity Classification (provided in GACC Decree No.158), the Customs hereby makes administrative rulings on the following products:
"Industrial video endoscope" inquired by Olympus (Shanghai) Company Limited should be classified into HS Code 8525.8031;
"Watchcase and wrist strap connector" inquired by Shanghai ShangShi WaiLianFa Import & Export Company Limited should be classified into HS Code 8517.7090;
"Modern snap buckle (A side and B side)" inquired by Shanghai ShangShi WaiLianFa Import & Export Company Limited should be classified into HS Code 8517.7090;
"Classical snap buckle (pin and belt buckle)" inquired by Shanghai ShangShi WaiLianFa Import & Export Company Limited should be classified into HS Code 8517.7090.
This Announcement shall enter into effect as from 1 March 2016.
In case of any changes in the governing laws and regulations to affect such administrative ruling, the rulings will automatically become invalid.
