GACC Announcement No.73, 2016 on Tax Collection Reform Expansion

In order to advance the pilot reform in tax collection mode, the GACC has decided to expand the coverage of the reform as follows:

1. The pilot reform shall expand to cover the commodities listed under Chapters 84, 85, 90 of the “Customs Import & Export Tariff of the P. R. China” (hereinafter as “the Tariff”), which are imported via the sea ports in the Customs Districts of Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Hefei, Nanchang, Wuhan, Changsha, Chongqing, Chengdu, Guiyang, and Kunming within Yangtze River Economic Belt and are declared to the Customs concerned in a paperless way;

2. In the case of formula pricing, special situations, and Certificate/Declaration of Origin under preferential trade agreements without e-networking, the commodities may be excluded from the pilot reform.

3. Other relevant matters shall refer to GACC Announcement No. 62 of 2016.

This Announcement shall enter into force on 1 December 2016.
