GACC Announcement No.52, 2017 on Customs-Control Workplace Setup Standards

In accordance with the “Provisional Measures for the Administration of Customs Control Areas of the P. R. China” (in GACC Decree No. 232), the GACC has formulated the “Standards for the Setup of Customs-Controlled Workplaces” (see the annex).
As provided for by the Standards, the operators of Customs-controlled workplaces involving waterway transport, air transport, railway transport, road transport, express delivery, storage tanks, and domestic pipelines for import energy resources, shall undertake administrative licensing formalities as per relevant regulations in the “Provisional Measures for the Administration of Customs Control Areas” and GACC Announcement No. 37 of 2017.
This Announcement shall enter into force on 1 November 2017.
