In order to help Hong Kong SAR to be the Asian center of wine trade, China’s import of grape wine via Hong Kong has since 2010 been provided with preferential measures in customs clearance at the 5 ports of Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin. Recently, the GACC has decided to extend those preferential measures over nationwide Customs ports.

This is to announce relevant matters:

1. As from 9 November 2017, the preferential measures for wine import via Hong Kong shall extend to all Customs ports in the Chinese mainland.

2. The wine import via Hong Kong, where being online registered with Hong Kong Customs authority by any Hong Kong-recognized exporter, may be accorded the preferential measures at any of China Customs ports. When declaring the wine import, the importer in the mainland shall provide the “preferential measures registration number” in the remark column of its Customs Declaration form.
