GACC Announcement No.12, 2018 on Temporary Entry & Exit Declaration Standards

In accordance with “China Customs Administrative Measures on the Goods of Temporary Entry and Exit” (in GACC Decree No. 233), this is to promulgate GACC-formulated “Application for Confirmation of Temporary Entry/Exit Goods”, “Confirmation of Approved Temporary Entry/Exit Goods” and “Statement for Postponement of Temporary Entry/Exit of Goods” and to clarify the standards on filling in relevant declaration form:
1. Filling in the Customs Declaration for temporary entry and exit of goods:
1) “Control Mode” column:
It shall be filled with “temporary entry/exit goods (2600)” or “exhibits (2700)”;
2) “Marks & Numbers” column:
(1) As per the 3rd article in the Admin Measures, it shall be filled in with involved goods categories, e.g. “temp. entry 6” or “temp. exit 9”;
(2) As per the 10th article in the Admin Measures, it shall be filled in with re-exit date or re-entry date of within 6 months from entry or exit date, e.g. re-entry before 20180815 or re-exit before 20181020;
(3) As per the 7th article in the Admin Measures, it shall be filled in with the number of “Confirmation of Approved Temporary Entry/Exit Goods”, e.g. <ZS customs confirmation number>;
The aforesaid items shall be provided in order and separated by “/” without space in between.
2. Filling in the Customs Declaration for re-entry or re-exit of goods:
Regarding the postponement, the “Marks & Numbers” column shall be filled in with Customs receipt number of “Statement for Postponement of Temporary Entry/Exit of Goods”, e.g. <ZS receipt number>.
This Announcement shall enter into force as from 1 February 2018.
