Guangzhou Customs Eight Service Measures for Promoting the Development of Intern

Based on the actual situation, Guangzhou Customs now issues the Eight Service Measures to promote the development of international convention and exhibition industry in Guangzhou district and support Guangzhou city for constructing an international convention and exhibition center city.

I. To innovate the manner of report and recordation. The exhibition business column is established in Guangzhou Customs website, from which the organizers, exhibitors or their agents can download the Fairs and Exhibits Report and Recordation Form for report and recordation procedures through the Internet or by fax.

II. To exhibit in the designated hall shall be free of customs securities. The organizers, exhibitors or their agents can be free of guarantee to Customs if they held exhibition in Pazhou Exhibition Center of Guangzhou, the Chinese Export Commodities Fair, Jinhan Exhibition Center, Huacheng Exhibition Center, Art Gallery of Guangdong Province, Guangzhou Museum of Art and other venues designated by the Customs.

III. To dispatch members to the fair and simplify procedures. For the exhibition under Customs supervision and control, the organizers, exhibitors or their agents can be free of customs securities to Customs. At the same time, they can process declaration, inspection, release and other formalities centralized in the exhibition hall.

VI. To promote the establishment of supervised warehouse for exhibits. Customs shall support the exhibition facilities in Guangzhou district to be perfect and establish customs supervision warehouse for international exhibits to meet the needs of "goods-gathering" before the exhibition and temporary exhibits deposit after the exhibition.

V. To facilitate when law-abiding. Customs will provide customs facilitation to the enterprises with good reputations. If they failed to provide the necessary business documents for customs clearance, Customs shall examined and released the exhibits based on the letter of Guarantee offered by the organizers, exhibitors or their agents, and go through necessary formalities afterwards.

VI. To provide special care to the special case. Customs shall provide 24-hour customs clearance appointment and field inspection service to the exhibits which are fresh or perishable goods and are eager to exhibit, help enterprises actively to handle customs procedures of exhibits transit and transfer in time.

VII. To establish a mechanism to coordinate with each other. Customs shall participate actively in the establishment of a joint meeting system of Guangzhou convention and exhibition industry, strengthen the communication and cooperation with exhibition management department, the port joint inspection departments, exhibition industry associations and intermediary organizations to jointly improve the international competitiveness of Guangzhou convention and exhibition industry.

VIII. To maintain the order of the exhibition industry in accordance with law. Customs supports and encourages enterprises to conduct legitimate exhibition business, severely cracks down on smuggling activities, and promotes the healthy development of Guangzhou international convention and exhibition industry.
