The Import of Taiwan Agricultural Product to Mainland Increases Quickly after th

According to the statistics from General Administration of Customs, with the Open of three links and preferential measures of zero-tariff on agricultural product from Taiwan, the mainland totally imports goods 2635.51 tons with a value of 2.7773 million U.S. dollars, and tariff preference of RMB3.2285 million, up 177.34%、80.81% and 90.51% accordingly, which takes the sign of rapid increase.

Since the open of three links on December 15, 2008, vessels sailing between the mainland and Taiwan can transport freely without needing to transit to the third place as the old days, and the mainland imports agricultural products on zero-tariff is in a rapid speed.

Since August 1, 2005, the zero-tariff agricultural product originated from Taiwan has delivered to such 14 ports as Beijing, Tianjin, Shenyang, Dalian, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Qingdao, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhabei.
