Shanghai Customs Will Make Trial Implementation of Classified Customs Clearance

The General Administration of Customs decides to make customs clearance reform in 15 customs with large scale customs clearance business, such as in Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Shenzhen etc. After Shanghai customs has been made such a trail in 2007, its customs clearance speed increased 30% than that before the reform, and the release rate for export reaches 99.24%.

It is said that, the General Administration of Customs will take Shanghai and Huangpu Customs as the experimental units for the classified customs clearance.
