Preferential Duties on ECFA Goods of Million US Dollars

Reports from Guangzhou Customs of China said that a lot of import goods under the ECFA have enjoyed the preferential tariff policy through Guangzhou Customs one month since the implementation of ECFA Early Harvest Program, covering aluminum, copper materials, raw materials of plastics (0,-12660.00,-100.00%), mechanical equipment, textile fabric, etc, with their value at USD 1,734,200 and tax cut by RMB 249,200 in total.

Recently, Guangzhou Customs has set up fast channels on spot at ports, providing declaration reservation services and preferentially handling the customs procedures for ECFA entry-exit goods like document examination, checking, tax collection, chemical examination, customs release, etc.

Guangzhou Customs also receives applications by enterprises for clearance reservation for emergency or special circumstances such as clearance in irregular working time, which helps guarantee the successful implementation of ECFA.
