Nantong Port Paperless in Clearance from May 1

[2013-05-09 09:26:43]

From May 1, Nantong port, located in Jiangsu province, starts the practice of China Customs "paperless" clearance, thus extricating importers and exporters from receipt and delivery of paper forms.

The enterprises of Class B or higher are permitted to utilize the paperless mode for their customs declarations at Nantong port.

Those enterprises can submit, over China E-Port platform, an application for the paperless clearance to local first-tier customs authorities. After being approved, they can send to the customs the electronic versions of declaration forms and other documents, instead of onsite delivery of their paper documents.
