Tariff Adjustment on Some Nonferrous Metals and Its Intermediate Products

Discussed and adopted at the 4th Plenary Session of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council and approved by the State Council, the adjustment of export tariff (including interim tariff and special tariff) on certain products will be implemented as of July 1st 2009. Relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. Abolish export interim tariff on certain products which mainly include wheat, rice, soybean and its power products, sulphuric acid, steel wire etc., 31 items in total.

2. Lower export interim tariff on certain products which mainly include nonferrous metals and its intermediate products such as tungsten, molyndenum, indium, etc., 29 items in total.
