China's Ministry of Commerce Made Final Rulings of Anti-Dumping and Countervaili

On April 10, 2010, China's Ministry of Commerce determined that formal anti-dumping duty and countervailing duty shall be levied on the grain-oriented flat-rolled electric steel (GOFES) imported from the United States as of April 11, 2010, in its final rulings of anti-dumping and countervailing on the aforementioned product.

It's reported that two U.S. companies having responded to the proceeds are to blame respectively for dumping ratio of 7.8% and 19.9% and respectively for ad valorem subsidy ratio of 11.7% and 12.0%, other U.S. companies involved to blame for dumping of 64.8% and for ad valorem subsidy of 44.6%. In addition, China's Ministry of Commerce made a ruling that dumping also takes place in the grain-oriented flat-rolled electric steel (GOFES) imported from Russia, two Russian companies having responded to the proceeds to blame for dumping ratio of 6.3%, while other Russian companies involved to blame for 25%.
