Export-Drawback Rate to be Raised, Benefiting Architectural Ceramics Enterprises A Lot

According to a notice recently issued by the Ministry of Finance of China, As of June 1, 2010, Chinese Government is to raise the export-drawback rates on some products again. This raise will bring about a great influence on the architectural ceramics industry, while industries such as textiles, toys, footwear are still longing for the warm recovery in the external environment.

More than 2,600 products in total are involved in this raise of drawback rate, where ceramics, toys, footwear and furniture in the traditional manufacturing industry are all included to be raised respectively to 13%, 15%, 15% and 15%. The export-drawback rates on textiles and garments will remain unchanged, however.

The raise in the export-drawback rate will bring the biggest benefit to the architectural ceramics industry. As per some industry insiders' view, this raise will increase the export earnings of enterprises by 4%, helpful to push up their export volume.
