China May Cut Export Tax Rebates on Steel Products, 21st Says

China may cut or cancel export tax rebates on some steel products, the 21st Century Business Herald reported, citing an unidentified official at Hebei Iron & Steel Group.

Rebates for hot-rolled coil of 9 percent may be eliminated and those for cold-rolled coil and galvanized products may be cut to 9 percent from 13 percent, the official said.
