India Initiated Mid-Term Review Investigation on Hydrofluoric Acid from China

The Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of India received a letter from the anti-dumping authority of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry of India that, on May 25, 2010, the anti-dumping authority initiated a mid-term review investigation on hydrofluoric acid originating in China.

The review this time is to determine whether the base tax rate for Chinese products needs changing or not. The anti-dumping investigation period was from January 1, 2009 till December 31, 2009, while the injury investigation period was from April 2006 till December 2009.
The anti-dumping authority demanded that each stakeholder shall, within 40 days following the filing of the case, submit relevant materials to the authority.
